Why is my portfolio purchase price higher than my trade price?

The purchase price in your holdings will include your brokerage costs in the calculation of the purchase price that is displayed, however the contract note for your trade separately lists your costs and the price per unit you have paid for the shares.

The portfolio purchase price is calculated in the following way: (Consideration (AUD) + Brokerage & costs) / Total Units = portfolio purchase price.

Please note: If you would prefer your portfolio to display the unit price only excluding costs, you can amend the price by clicking on the ‘Edit’ link located above your holdings.
